Screen My Application Is Now Merging with Go4Rent

To better serve Realtors, Screen My Application (screenmyapp.com) is officially merging with Go4Rent (www.Go4Rent.com).

What This Means for You

Please visit https://go4rent.com/sign-up to create your Realtor or Landlord account.

Once registered:

  • List your property on your account so applicants can apply directly through Go4Rent.
  • If you created a Realtor account and your listing is already live on the MLS (Houston, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio), you do not need to manually create the listing — it will automatically appear on Go4Rent once synced with the MLS.

To manually create a listing:

  1. Click on the “Listings” tab in your Go4Rent account.
  2. Enter the property details in the required fields.
  3. Click “Update Listing” at the bottom of the page.
  4. Once submitted, the property will appear under the Current Listings panel on the right side of your screen.
  5. Applicants can find your listing by searching the property address on Go4Rent’s home page — you do not need to provide them with a direct link.

Application Process

Through Go4Rent, applicants will:

  • Complete the Texas Association of Realtors (TXR) lease application.
  • Upload all required supporting documents (e.g., ID, pay stubs, etc.).

Screening and Review

Once an applicant submits their lease application:

  • You’ll be able to review their application and supporting documents.
  • To access the applicant’s credit and background reports, you must initiate the screening process.
  • Applicants are only charged once screening begins — submitting the application alone does not trigger a charge.
  • Both Realtor and Landlord accounts default to the Full Check ($85.00), which includes Go4Rent’s Verification Service.

After Screening Is Initiated

  • Go4Rent Processor will be assigned to the file.
  • The Processor will verify the applicant’s:
    • Employment and income
    • Rental or residential history
  • Verification typically takes 2–3 business days.
  • All email communication regarding the file (e.g., requests for missing documents or clarification) will include the Listing Realtor for full visibility
